About Hurstwood

Hurstwood is an independent Australian organisation that matches experienced trainers and consultants with health and welfare sector service providers organisations.

Hurstwood was established to support the health and welfare sector workforce with workshops and consultancy incorporating three principles: (1) applied real-world practice wisdom, (2) evidence-based best-practice (3) adapting to the unique needs of each organisation and client group.

Our Difference

Our holistic approach draws together developing/reviewing organisational policy, supervisor skills training, and also developing supervisee skills. Our trainers are all experienced supervisors.

These workshops place particular emphasis upon the challenges of internal / line-manager supervision. You choose the elements relevant to your organization, and we integrate your existing policies, procedures and forms into the workshop.

Our training includes 12 follow up newsletters and 6 suggested group supervision topics to reinforce learning.
